Uric acid, trending to target
Log every lab result and watch the line move toward the 6.0 mg/dL goal — in mg/dL or µmol/L. Seeing it drop is what keeps people on treatment.
Gout Tracker · Food Scanner · Purine & Uric Acid Log
Check whether any food is safe in seconds, log flares and uric acid in about 10 seconds a day, and uncover what really triggers your gout — backed by published purine data, not AI guesses.
Gout hits about 9.2 million U.S. adults — roughly 41 million people worldwide — and most of the advice out there is folklore. The food lists contradict each other. The apps hide the one number you came for behind a paywall, or guess it with AI. So you avoid "bad foods," still flare, and give up.
Gout Coach is the app that stops guessing — and starts proving what's actually going on with you.
Prevalence: U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) & the National Kidney Foundation.
Three jobs, done properly
Check it. Log it. Learn from it. No clutter, big tap targets, made for real life with gout.
Pillar 1 · Food Scanner
Search any food, or point your camera at a plate, a package, or its ingredient list. Coach gives one clear verdict:
🟢 Safe 🟡 Moderate 🔴 High risk
Pillar 2 · Daily Log
One screen, tap-only, and it saves itself. The lower the friction, the more you'll actually do it — and the data is what finds your triggers.
Pillar 3 · Your Triggers
After about two weeks of logging, Coach compares what you logged right before each flare with your normal days, and surfaces the patterns worth watching.
"7 of your 9 flares came within 48 hours of alcohol."
Log every lab result and watch the line move toward the 6.0 mg/dL goal — in mg/dL or µmol/L. Seeing it drop is what keeps people on treatment.
Uric acid trend, flare history, medications, and your top trigger candidates — one clean summary you can hand to your rheumatologist. Stop trying to remember how bad last month was.
How it works
Search or scan a food and get a Safe / Moderate / High-risk verdict with the real purine number behind it.
Tap how the joints feel, your water, and what you ate. Flare? Switch to Flare Mode and capture it.
Coach reveals your personal patterns and turns them into a one-tap PDF for your doctor.
Why it's different
Built directly from the complaints sufferers leave about every other gout app.

| Privacy | Accounts, ads, tracking | On-device, no account, no tracking |

Meet your coach
The cherry is the gout community's favorite ally for a reason. Coach Cherry is a veteran trainer, not a cartoon: calm, dry-witted, zero judgment. He laughs with you on the hard days, never at the toe.
"No shame in a flare — only in not tracking it."
His whole job is to make checking, logging, and learning so easy you actually keep at it.

High-purine foods commonly linked to gout flares include organ meats, red meat, game, anchovies, sardines, mussels, scallops, and beer. Gout Coach rates any food Safe, Moderate, or High-risk using published purine tables, and also flags fructose and alcohol — because dietary purines are only about a third of the uric-acid story.
Yes. Point your camera at a plate, a packaged product, or its ingredient list, and Coach names the food and gives the same Safe / Moderate / High-risk verdict. Camera scanning is a Premium feature; unlimited food search is always free.
Treatment guidelines generally target a serum uric acid below 6.0 mg/dL (about 360 µmol/L) to dissolve crystals and prevent flares. Gout Coach charts your lab results against the 6.0 line so you can see whether you're at target. Always confirm your personal target with your doctor.
Yes. Your logs stay on your device. Gout Coach runs no servers and never sees, sells, or shares your data. There are no accounts and no ads. The only time data leaves your phone is when you choose to scan a meal photo, or if you turn on optional cloud backup to your own iCloud or Google Drive.
Yes. Food search and all logging work with no signal — at the store, at the restaurant, or on the road. Only the camera meal-scanning feature needs an internet connection.
